A mission oriented and cross-sectoral approach for decarbonising important sectors such as built environment, industry and power generation will be needed. Research and innovation will play a crucial role and offer many opportunities for upscaling sustainable economic activities.

The ‘Mission Energy’ conference aims at bringing decision makers from industry, policy and knowledge institutes together and showcase specific innovations and cases along 3 missions:

• Industry
• Electrification

Location

The ‘Mission Energy’ full program will take place on 21 & 22 October 2021 in Genk, Belgium. The venue Thor Central, located in the middle of Thor Park, offers a unique location to inspire, share and connect. Thor Park transformed from a coal mine into a state-of-the-art technology park and is surrounded by knowledge and expertise in sustainable energy engineering, technology and innovation.
